Dr Andrew Roberts is an historian and biographer whose works include Salisbury: Victorian Titan, A History of the English-Speaking Peoples Since 1900, Masters and Commanders: How Roosevelt, Churchill, Marshall and Alanbrooke Won the War in the West, and The Storm of War: A New History of the Second World War.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature, holds a PhD from Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge, and is a Trustee of the Margaret Thatcher Archive Trust. He appears regularly on British and American TV and radio, and lives in New York. His website can be found at www.andrew-roberts.net
