Andrew Tyrie MP

Andrew Tyrie has been the Conservative Member of Parliament for Chichester since 1997.  He is a former adviser to successive Chancellors of the Exchequer, a former Senior Economic Adviser at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and a former Fellow of Nuffield College, Oxford.

He has written extensively on economic policy and constitutional affairs including Mr Blair’s Poodle (CPS, 2003) and Mr Blair’s Poodle Goes to War (CPS, 2004).  Andrew is Chairman of the Treasury Select Committee and is Chairman of the APPG on Extraordinary Rendition.
