Lord Norton of Louth

He is the author or editor of 27 books and has served as President of the Politics Association and Vice-President of the Political Studies Association.  He was elevated to the peerage in 1998.  He chaired the Conservative Party's Commission to Strengthen Parliament, which reported in 2000, and was the first Chairman of the House of Lords Select Committee on the Constitution.  He has been described in The House Magazine - the journal of both Houses of Parliament - as 'our greatest living expert on Parliament'.
