Tim Montgomerie

Tim Montgomerie is the founder and editor of ConservativeHome, one of Britain’s leading political websites, which he set up in 2005. Before that he worked for the Conservative Party, as Chief of Staff to Iain Duncan Smith, and from 1998 to 2003 he ran the Conservative Party's outreach to faith communities and the voluntary sector.

He helped establish the Centre for Social Justice in 2004 and was the co-founder of the Conservative Christian Fellowship. Tim has also worked at the Bank of England, where his responsibilities included the Russian economy and the study of systemic risk in financial systems.
