True UK public sector government debt

In 2008 true government debt was estimated to be £1,854 billion. In 2009 it is estimated at £2,220 billion. These figures are necessarily approximate. The clock is calculated on a calendar year basis. See Brooks Newmark's two CPS reports for further details.
