The CPS is one of the UK's leading free-market think-tanks, founded in 1974 by Margaret Thatcher and Sir Keith Joseph. The Centre exists to promote the principles of free markets and a free society. It also operates the CapX website, which acts as a platform for the best thinking on politics and economics.

Animator/Designer

The Centre for Policy Studies is looking for an enthusiastic, talented Animator/Designer to join its team. The successful candidate will work both for the CPS and its CapX media arm, producing charts, graphics, GIFs and animated videos that explain and promote the CPS’s policy ideas.

Essential skills:

  • Experience with graphic design and animation
  • The ability to sum up complex policy ideas in simple visual terms
  • Familiarity with graphic design and animation software
  • An interest in and sympathy with centre-right politics and economics

The position would suit a recent graduate or someone at the start of their career, with a couple of years’ experience in the graphic design world. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in politics and a desire to help develop and publicise new policy ideas that can make Britain a more prosperous place. The position would be working full-time, based in our offices in Tufton Street in London.

Closing date: April 27th, although we may recruit before then if an exceptional candidate is found

Application Process: Please send a CV and covering letter, along with samples of your work, to [email protected] with the words “ANIMATOR/DESIGNER” in the subject line. Applications should be marked for the attention of Robert Colvile.
