Collapse in home ownership "the most damaging shift in society"

The reduction in home ownership is "one of the most dramatic, and damaging, shifts in our society and economy in recent decades", according to Robert Colvile, CPS Director.

Responding to a report published by the Institute for Fiscal Studies showing the collapse in home ownership among young people, Robert's comments featured on the front page of the Daily Mail and he had follow up interviews with LBC and Talk Radio.

The IFS report echoed the findings of "Homes for Everyone", published by the Centre for Policy Studies and written by Chris Philp MP.

You can read the full report here, or a summary by Robert Colvile on the CapX website.
