CapX Live with Stuart Ritchie on Science Fictions: Exposing Fraud, Bias, Negligence and Hype in Science

Most of our knowledge relies on science, but Stuart Ritchie argues that science may not always be reliable. In his new book, Science Fictions, Stuart explores the flaws of the scientific method we presume is our best and only way of knowing about the world, especially in fields like medicine, education and health.

CapX’s Editor John Ashmore sat down with Stuart on Thursday 11th February for what was a lively and entertaining discussion.

Stuart Ritchie is a psychologist and science communicator known for his research in human intelligence. He has served as a lecturer at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience at King’s College London since the summer of 2018. He was previously active in researching intelligence as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Edinburgh.
